Lake Tahoe

Last weekend, I went to the 'Lake Tahoe' for the field trip. I was worried about it because I had no company before going to there. When I got up in the early morning, I was concerned whether I go to there or not. However, I packed my stuff and go out to field trip because it was an opportunity to go to Lake Tahoe for free and if you go to there, you need a ride to get there, but I don't have a car and even I'm underage here, so I cannot drive a car. Anyway, I met my friends when I got a pick up place. I was very surprised. I got on the bus with my friends and it took about 2-3 hours. Finally, I arrived Lake Tahoe, but the weather was awful. It was raining and freezing. The weather was almost winter. The first spot to sightseeing was like a plaza...or street. I don't know exactly, but it was also awful because I came to Lake Tahoe for seeing beautiful and awesome mountain view, but what I was looking was just a place for shopping and eating. I was totally disappointed.. and the next spot was the beach. Just beach. I couldn't see the mountain which is covered with snow on the peak because the weather was foggy, so the fog covered the mountain. What..? I took pictures sand beach. It was not enough to feel Lake Tahoe. I want to go there to see the beautiful scenery. Really want it!!!

Winery with Gina

Dear diaryToday was very spectacular day. Gina and I have been Placerville to go wine party with Gina's parents. The things that come into my head whenever I meet them are they are so nice and kind. They prepared the winery ticket for me. Gina rode them a wine party and then, Gina and I went another wine party. It was awesome! The house was located in good environment such as many trees, mountain which covered with snow on the top, and fresh air. The house also played a live music and some people danced outside. They had three courses to drink wine. First, before coming into the house, drunk two kinds of wine with cheddar cheese on the outside. Second, tested three kinds of oil that served with some pieces of bread and ate with different kinds of wine. Finally, we drunk three more different kinds of wine. It was bit and strong to me. I don't remember what the wine's name are, however, I can remember the house's atmosphere. I felt exactly the American atmosphere. Culture. Everybody enjoyed wine to stand in front of bar table and talked each other even they don't know before they meet. We went back to the place where we drove her parents. The house was very antic and unique. Looking pretty. One of the American cultures that I've experienced in the U.S. is that people who invited a party bring food like finger food. I think it's a great culture. And they had a kind of lottery event. People brought a present for lottery. I announced the lottery number. Although it is not special thing, I was trembled and shy because.. I don't know. Just. People was so kind. When I was being such a shy girl, they encouraged me. After I ordered the lottery number, people gave me words of encouragement like great job. Anyway, it was great time. If Gina didn't invite me, I would never have a party like that. I could not forget this experience. Thanks, Gina!
